The Junior League of Memphis (JLM) is pleased to offer you the opportunity to apply for participation in the Leaders Evolving And Developing (LEAD) Program. Our mission is to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. This program is unique to the JLM, in that it is open to both men and women who serve our city within the nonprofit arena. Upon completion of the LEAD Program, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills that will empower them as leaders so their organizations flourish.

  • Communication Styles and Methods 
  •  Leading a Meeting 
  •  Decision Making 
  •  Goal Setting 
  •  Delegating 
  •  Building a Network 
  •  Developing a Personal Brand 
  •  Marketing a Personal Brand 
  •  Creating an Action Plan

Below please find a link for the application for participation in the LEAD Program. Applications should be completed and submitted quickly as there are a limited number of spaces available. If a member of your organization is accepted, there is a $40 fee for the handbook and course materials.
